I'm getting tired of these things scratching...I just did this today...has anybody else tried this? What were the results? I called Grado and they said they had never done it, but that they didn't see any problem with doing so.

I sparingly treat mine once a month with Scott's Liquid Gold. I haven't noticed any adverse effects sonically and it keeps them looking like new. I don't think it'll cover up scratches but it can't hurt.

I had a scratch on my MS Pros and used Old English Dark Furniture polish sparingly. Scratch is gone.
