Hi, I recently got a job and commute a lot. So I just bought a creative ZVM and decides to spend $150 on a IEM. I am definitely not an audiophile and I don't prefer certain types of music. I am not a big fan of heavy bass and I do prefer good clarity. After reading the forum, I have come down to im716, SF5pro and Denon AH-C700. I am wondering if someone can help me choose one. I may want to carry a portable amp (less than $100), so if you can give me some suggestions, that'd be great. Thank you in advance!

Between the SF5 and the C700, I would choose the C700 hands down. I like it's sound much more then the SF5. I'm not big on the fit of the SF5 either.

Denon AH-C700 $141.99

The Super.fi 5 is a goood IEM though, and some (intoflatlines) will swear by it.

UE Super.fi 5 $179.99

The im716 will need some mods and an amp to really make it shine. This would bemy last choice.

Altec im716 $84.99

And if you're going to put that much work into it you might as well get the Etymotics.

Etymotic ER4P $169.99
