Great review my friend! And thank you for having me listen to your pair at the meet-up in Amsterdam, it was my favorite from all IEMs that I tried and there were a lot of heavy weights! (Storm, Traillii Ti, Annihilator, Camelot, Rosenkranz Silver HB, CP622, ...)
Not the most technically perfect but the most enjoyable.
I'm in touch with Canpur to have a CIEM pair built.
@Andricop with pleasure my friend! It was amazing meeting you and talking about audio and life together. The CP54e is a very special set indeed. The CP74e is going to be released in a few days, looking forward to trying at some point this year and putting them vs. the CP54e.
Easy, hence my question. I have listened to the OG recently and both are complementary. The Traillii OG have less bass quantity and quality than the CP54e to me, but the mids are fuller and more romantic. The high frequencies are more airy and extended on the Canpurs, the Traillii a bit rolled-off. Both are legendary great sounding for me, in their very own way. Worth getting both? Absolutely
Strongly considering selling my Fatfreq Maestro SE to fund some Canpur as my basshead set. The SE are uncomfortable for me & I don't care so much about feeling the bass through a resin shell designed for that purpose - I am more concerned about hearing it - super deep & smooth. Are these the ones?
