Definitely prefer the Explorer over the Performer5 for me. Timbre is better and more natural in the Explorer than the P5's apparent BA timbre. Bass also felt well done and the mids have the right thickness, the P5 felt a little lean for me. Resolution seems neck and neck but the Explorer though...- d m41n man

These two seem to be a better comparison basis. The Gaea is still the more energetic and vocal-forward of the two yet the Pilgrim takes some of the smoothness of the Diva especially on the top end as well as not being borderline shouty (which the Gaea is at times especially with Spinfits). I myself have the IE 600 as favorite as well. The Pilgrim seem to have a balanced U-shape with just a bit of bright tilt. Bass quantity is more on the IE 600 but as an overall value and delicate balance across the frequencies with the resolution to flex, I'd give it to the Pilgrim.- d m41n man
