@Ianbanz, A perfect interpretation of how the Pro 2 is. I could not have said it better.- Redcarmoose

Well, it is more than color, in fact maybe color isn’t necessarily the word at all. Why, because an increase in resolution is the opposite of color in a way. It adds weight, separation and gives the midrange density. The (full-on) Totem full-size cable does this too, but the adapter cable may be...- Redcarmoose

“No, I really don't believe reviewers should evaluate free samples sent by the manufacturer or retailer.” So your at odds with the whole industry?- Redcarmoose

Did you really read my impressions take on the PRO 2? Did you read every word or not? I never said it was perfect, in fact I said it was lesser than the PRO X. I said the safe bet is still the PRO X and the guilty pleasure would be the PRO 2. I’m being absolutely as honest as possible?- Redcarmoose

It is exactly like getting free Pizza samples at the grocery store. They have a smiling gal who stops you and says would you to try the “Whatever brand” pizza. Then you taste it and it’s something you would have overlooked, yet it is now the focus of your imagination. The only difference is we...- Redcarmoose

Lol, samples have been supplied for audio reviews at least since the 1950s. Where do you think equipment in The Absolute Sound, or Stereophile comes from? And most of those magazines don’t cover cheap $50 KZ IEMs either, we are talking thousands of dollars per sample. Unsustainable? It’s been...- Redcarmoose

So sorry yes, it is a review sample, and sure that has a possible phycological bias maybe towards a more positive out come.........I mean it was a gift? But I do all I can to try and remain as objective as humanly possible. Though in the end, it probably will not be argued this endeavor is...- Redcarmoose

I always answer questions, it also may help me learn. I will never forget the time (in my younger years before being a reviewer) when I asked a prominent reviewer about the qualities of a $3400 IEM, he wouldn’t answer all but a single question? Imagine he got a $3400.00 IEM for free and won’t...- Redcarmoose

All tests in 4.4mm The first thing I did was try the PAC480. What was wild is it was a big sound (a huge stage) but there was a slight glare which I reconfirmed by going from the Sony WM1A over to the HiBy R3 II. Yep, no need to try it any further. I got to wondering what other ways I could...- Redcarmoose
