no idea how I got this VU meter instead of the “standard” one. I must have pressed something when I fell asleep 😅. Can anyone share the PDF manual that is on the device? I can’t connect to a computer for a while and would love to know more about hidden settings like this one !

Overall I am happy with this DAP. It’s a great addition to my collection and has definitely its own flavor in tube mode.

I agree with this. While the RS8 is a great machine, its implementation is very different from LP’s to my ears, and not sounding as appealing to me. Different tastes of course!

Maybe a NuTube based card? They’re working on an amp on that style, and maybe some of that tech can be trickled down to an E7 card…

Don’t forget it has TWO extra DAC chips, for a total of four, compared to only two in the Gold edition!

I never had an issue listening to it while charging. I think it’s fine!

I think Bluetooth is one way only? You can stream to the E7, but not stream from it. I’m not sure though!
