Probalby one of the best albums ever recorded (imo). This band grew up when I did which makes this album more special

Mid Spiral: Growth (2024) by BADBADNOTGOOD - The third part of their staggered release of the Mid Spiral sequence of EP's. The Cyan II, V222 and HD800S are all working their butts off with this EP and the sound is outrageously awesomefull. There's a lot of depth to the soundstage and every instrument has it's own particular place and they all just sound so real - truly grin inducing!

A Game Of Whispers (2024) by Age of Distraction - Debut album by a new British band released on Friday and so far tonight I've played it five times - I like it a lot! They are a prog/melodic metal band and seem to have an impressive dollop of talent, the songs are all strong and the playing is excellent. Giving the D7200 a run now and the sound is really good, the DAC & Amp provide strong bass to an already bassy headphone and the combination is addictive all with no loss of detail - head's bobbing and toes are tapping
