I agree. I was using the gu craftsman with 4.4mmm and tanchjim space but switched to a 3.5mm and fiio ka11 because I think the amp within the dongle makes more of a difference than 4.4 vs 3.5 (albeit still relatively small). I prefer the ka11 because it presents a feeling of a bit more body...

To remove the tackiness, Just put some bicarb soda and water paste and give it a light scrub with the fingers and wash off.

i think V-shaped has some subjectivity to it depending on what you consider neutral. To my ears, the ie600 leans more to u-shaped because I don't think there is enough midbass for a true V, really its strong elevation known in the subbass while also quite a bit upper mid elevation which means...

I took the foam out for the first time after having these for a number of years, gave them a clean and put them back in. I didn't notice any change so I can only assume they weren't blocked with earwax. I suggest only doing If you think they are clogged.

I imagine the supermoon would have to be using the same planar as the other first gem drivers and it came out about the same time. I wonder what, If anything, they did to tweak it.

The problem with memory hooks is that the 'memory gets changed every time you slip them over the ear. Once on the ear you can never push it tight enough to your ear because there is always a bit of spring/recoil. Every time you take the iems out, the hooks change slightly again. It's a PITA...

That's what I see, maybe some things coming with an update, who knows. The prior ka1 has eq, filter and hardware volume adjustment but not sure if these were added after the fact. The ka2 has filters and volume control but no eq.
