Can I connect a TRS male output to a TRRS female input?
TL;DR: I have a headphone that takes only 2.5mm TRRS/4-Pole input. I would like to connect a 3.5mm TRS/3-Pole output to it, but this adapter is the closest thing I could find and it has a 3.5mm TRRS/4-Pole input. Will connecting a TRS output to a TRRS input work? I recently received a Fostex...- DatGameh

Fostex T50RP 50th Anniversary Edition
Hey everyone Just popping in to post the T50-50 that I just received. Got it to replace my old T50Mk3, it was detereorating and due for a replacement. All in all, really satisfied with it so far. Aesthetically, it looks better in person. It's like an amalgamation of each of the best parts...- DatGameh

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
As attractive as the price may be, I think you may want to be skeptical first. Typically for these indiegogo products, the products that get shipped out are basically "beta" products. They have lots of quirks about them that will be fixed months after initial release. The early bird price cut is...- DatGameh

Does anyone know the general reliability of Soundcore's earphones? They're pretty popular brands afaik - or at least has gotten popular as of late - but do wonder if they are sketchy. (I'm planning to get the Spirit X2 for its long life, earhook and waterproofing)- DatGameh

True Wireless, long single-charge life, under $80 for Workout: Spirit X2?
Ah, I see. A good suggestion, but I'm afraid that goes over the budget as in Amazon, it's $89 (my maximum is $80). Thanks though, it'll still be one that I'll consider.- DatGameh

True Wireless, long single-charge life, under $80 for Workout: Spirit X2?
Ah, thanks for the link! I'll take a look at it. Oh, and about the specs, - the life should be 7+ hours (if possible) - Waterproofing definitely necessary - ANC and Transparency not needed - No real fit issues. Though, I would want it to hold on to my ears.- DatGameh

True Wireless, long single-charge life, under $80 for Workout: Spirit X2?
I have a pretty simple question about an earphone. So I'm looking for a true wireless earphone with long battery life (without recharging in the dock), under $80 and stable enough for working out. I'm not willing to spend more because... well, I've had three separate earphones for working out...- DatGameh

Good DAP alternatives to the Shanling m0? (with similar output power)
I've owned a Shanling m0 for quite some time, and found myself hating the it quite a bit. Terrible accessories, fragile and poorly protected knob, relatively short battery life, etc. I'm looking for alternatives to the m0 that has a more diverse set of accessories and features. So far, the...- DatGameh

AP80 - Hidizs next portable Hi-Res music player
Also, might a future revision of this player come? It's been a while since its release now, and it could use some minor improvements. BT 5.0, higher battery capacity maybe, etc. You could call it the AP81, maybe!- DatGameh

Do you think the Shanling m0 has any notable competitors yet?
Honestly, the only better alternative you could buy right now is the AP80. Has almost the same feature set as the FiiO M5 (I think) and has the same powerful DAC/AMP combo that powers the m0. But... I noticed that its price rose by about $30 based on a review that listed it as $115 before. So...- DatGameh

Well, since you're here, I guess I might as well give you my two cents in your search: Don't expect a DAP to last for too long. Expect to replace it every few years (~2-4 years). DAP technology is the kind of stuff that tends to progress rather quickly. Higher end features continue to get pushed...- DatGameh
