FX-AUDIO Tube-02 Pro
There are five of these HFD4/5-S relays on the Tube 02 Pro circuit board. They are the cream colored rectangular blocks in the photo.- GoneToPlaid

FX-AUDIO Tube-02 Pro
The HSD4/5-S signal relay (it is the white colored block shaped thing on the circuit board just below the RCA output jacks) probably has burned out. The purpose of this relay is to prevent a popping sound on the RCA output when you turn on the Tube 02 Pro. The /5 in the part name indicates that...- GoneToPlaid

FX-AUDIO Tube-02 Pro
The heater filaments for the left and right tubes are wired in series. If the filament in either tube burns out, then there will be no audio output for the RCA outputs or for the headphone output jacks. Check and confirm that there is not any audio output for the headphone output jacks. If there...- GoneToPlaid

Not really. At least MacEq is a 10 band EQ which has EQ frequency adjustments which probably do have some overlap such that you can achieve a bit of a somewhat parametric EQ by tweaking a primary slider and the adjacent sliders. The bass and lower midrange should be easy to tweak using MacEQ...- GoneToPlaid

I generally agree with everything which you said in your review. I find that the MagicOne adds a somewhat ethereal quality to music since the overall sound signature is inviting and engaging yet relaxing at the same time. I also agree that the Hana 2021 or V2 is an IEM which did glide under the...- GoneToPlaid

Best IEM tips?
This a nice and well organized collection of eartips. My collection is half this size. That is a really slick idea of printing small paper squares with the tip information which you have placed in each of the organizer boxes. What do you think of the ePro horn eartips? Were they useful for any...- GoneToPlaid

I overlay several frequency response graphs in a graphics program. Each graph was normalized relative to my preferred tuning target. Here is an example:- GoneToPlaid

IEM's and air pressure inside the ears
This looks like a nice and simple solution for non-vented IEMs.- GoneToPlaid

Aful Performer Impressions Thread
I prefer to average several squiglink graphs for a given IEM relative to my preferred and normalized target frequency response. I load the averaged graphs into the Peace GUI and then I perform my own parametric EQ for areas which I want to tweak. I don't use the delta 10 dB target since it...- GoneToPlaid

Aful Performer Impressions Thread
Have you ever played around with the Peace GUI EQ interface for Equalizer APO? Are there particular things which you would like to tweak such as male vocals, more mid bass or more sub bass, or perhaps more simulated pinna gain for more details in the upper midrange? Fortunately the P8 has a very...- GoneToPlaid
