Just get properly insulated power cables. The hums will be gone. Something like this: IECpower cables

I believe there were screws that secure the headphone drivers in place. The first batch had problem of it being too loose. So subsequent ones are now glued down after screwed down. Not sure if your issue is the drive not being secured down or not.

So ModHouse prioritizes their own orders before Mimic Audio. Good to know.

If you put a metal box or cage over the Aegis it can double as a stool! Just don’t accidentally trip over it when you walk.

Can you check if it’s glued down properly? I recalled some Quality problems with the early batches that required them to glue down some parts because the screws were loose. You’ll have to do a quick search.

Oh that’s the dual slave/master module. Did you order a solo Mentor? But even then they used to include that in case people upgraded. You best message them to ask.

There is the issue of “grass is always greener on the other side” effect. So having a variety of amps is better than just having “the best”.

The price is a marketing tool. If it’s too cheap no one will take it seriously. However to justify the high price it needs to compare to the Susvara or at least be different and good enough that people are willing to pay, like the Shangri La estat.
