How are the Black Label Telefunken ECC88 tubes and how do they compare to the much more expensive NOS White Label Tele's?- sixergixer

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I helped a buddy move records and speakers and subs over the weekend. He has a Kia Sportage PHEV that could run 30 miles on battery alone. While I could wish for at least double that EV range to get me through most of a week of commuting between charges, I like the idea of this kind of setup way...- sixergixer

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Curious if anybody here knows much about, or has any experience with Musical Fidelity integrated amplifiers and/or NOLA Contender (or Boxer) speakers? A buddy of mine is downsizing to one system and has offered me a really great deal on his Musical Fidelity M2si and NOLA Contender combo. I've...- sixergixer

A deep, menacing, textural bass line seemingly of the earth, poignant spoken-word vocals (Moor Mother!) over crooning angelic vocals from Arooj, delicate percussion and bell-like sounds. This track from Arooj Aftab is an instant favorite! Qobuz The whole album is a superb listen.- sixergixer

I drove several various iterations of that fine motor back when BMW was coordinating with the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to run the Ultimate Drive event held at various BMW dealerships. That created quite the love for BMW driving dynamics for me. But, as great as that I6 was, it was...- sixergixer

I can read and listen to music at the same time, and have always enjoyed doing so the most. I cannot do that if it is hip-hop/rap or the vocals are a spoken-word style. Then it's like trying to listen to two conversations at once.- sixergixer

I'm with you! I have a hard time with short books. Lol That reminds me, I'm greatly due for another LotR read-through and I hear that Andy Serkis (Gollum himself) has been doing splendid recordings for a new audiobook release. Edit: 'new' not 'jew'. Yeesh- sixergixer

What a profound statement! And oh so true. Music exploration is a for ever and always endeavor. And to that effect, my recommendation is a literal definition of ALL-CAPS FUN! Sault - 5- sixergixer
