I have a AT-LP120-USB turntable and have just gotten a Douk Audio P2 Preamp, which I'm pairing the with a pair of Wharfedale DX-1 speakers, these are rated at 30-80 watt and 4 ohms. I have noticed with the Audio Technica turntable switch on the rear set to 'Line' mode then I need the volume turned all the way to max on the preamp to get just a normal volume level, if I turn the Audio Technica Turnable to Phono mode I can't hear anything at all!!. I have plugged a set on headphones in and the volume seems normal even turning it half way is too loud!!.

Is the Douk Audio P2 preamp not man enough to power the Wharfedale speakers correctly, is that why I'm getting very low level volumes??
