After my all-time, second to none #1, Bill Evans and #2's, Kenny Barron and Gonzalo Rubalcaba, I'd put George on a very close #3. The news of his passing a couple years ago really hit me.
Madre mio! Rubalcaba is unbelievable!
I think George had a hard time after the death of his beloved wife, he survived only for one more year.

This photo is really funny cos the Korg he is playing is not a polyphonic keyboard! Typical George, always funny and exploring new grounds. God bless him!

I've got a good picture of George when he was with Zappa in 1974; just scanned it so I still have to work on it, but I'll put it up when I do.

I saw him in a concert in Philly back in 1971 and all that I remember is that I loved it. Fortunately, I wasn't driving!
Those were the days! Had one or two of those myself.
