Selling my Amps and Sound Kenzie Encore - headphone amplifier / preamp / tube buffer.

This amplifier utilitises the 1626 tubes which are described as "the poor man's 300b" but better than that there are limited tube options for rolling and this package includes the best of the bunch.

The dual headphone taps make this ideal for effecient planars as well as dynamic headphones. I was pairing this with the ZMF verite (open and closed) and the DCA aeon 2 noire with great results.

The amplifier is silent on the low ohm tap but depending on the effeciency of your headphones you may need to swap between 12au7/12sl7 on the input tube to adjust gain levels thus making it silent - this has the added benefit of allowing for more range of volume control with effecient headphones too.

This unit features input transformers and auricaps as upgrades over the stock Kenzie plus additional inputs, preamp out and a more functional layout.
