AKG K50 from 1959, according to the company ”the world's first on-ear open headphone", years before HD414 and later Sony's many models. As a microphone manufacturer AKG knew how to apply a dynamic driver with light membrane into a headphone. Sounds surprisingly good for its age, and a pair of pads (not part of the original design, included here) reveals the bass capacity of the K50.

A mint pair of AKG K50 with original packaging is valued to over $200. A rare opportunity to grab a classic design.
