Fostex TH900 Sapphire Blue.

Please note that it was heavily Moded

Firstly, the headband was changed to th500rp's (because th500rp's headband is with 3.5 jack socket). Currently left hinge is sort of broken, because it can spin for 360 degrees, but functioning alright anyway

With fostex jack I can literally find no upgrade cable for this baby, so I decided to replaced the fostex connector to 3.5 one, same wire order as Beyerdynamic T1's

The sponge inside has been changed to a block of high-density foam, in order to improve the mids

Condition is fair, exactly the same as pictures, but it works perfectly, and sounds awesome, energetic bass, well tamed highs, and a much forwarded mids

No original packaging and cable, but with a customised cable, made by 4*Gotham AnS 2mm cable (the one with screening layer), roughly 1.75m, sounds thousands time better than stock cable

Overall, after all these moding, bass is tightened, it's more concentrated and quantity is hence reduced. I think it's better described as 'good in quality but not quantity'.
The subbass is as deep as before moded, midbass and upper bass is slimmer but more concentrated, so it becomes more punchy rather than overwhelming. As the upper bass and midbass is slimmer, it brings less negative affect on mids by not covering up the it, in this case, image of vocal is more forwarded (well at least relatively)
