Spectacular Sonic Experience is what these are!
Here's how I described them with 20 hours of burn-in on them:

Szallys are in the house! First impression out fort the box with stock cable and Azla Crystal tips. Wow, they sure do shine - oh that glitter. They say that not all the glitters is gold, but on first listen they sound like gold. Just as the metal, the sound is dense. Bass is bombastic, mids are smooth and there's good treble - not EST treble, but nice air. I listened to a little Earth Wind and Fire to get a sense of the horns, which are well placed and full of feeling. Cymbal strikes are crisp and precise but just a bit back in the mx. Diana Krall's vocals are butter - smooth as I'd expect from a planar and a touch forward - really nice and bass lines on Mark Lettieri's Pulsar are fat, deep and full. I know the set I picked up only have 20 hours on them so I'm expecting them to be exquisite. The bass feels a little bloated but I expect that will settle down with a few more hours as the planars begin to open up and blossom - as planars do.

After an additional 36 hours I wrote this:
What a difference a day can make! I've had my Szallys running around the clock for 36 hours now and they are a completely different beast. While my initial impressions were positive - now with 50 -60 hours on them - ALL the muddiness or slightly bloated nature in the bass is gone. They are fat, yet detailed and textured and the top end has completely opened up. It's a completely different experience. I can now see why so many head-fiers have been selling them at the 20 to 25 hour hour mark; they either don't believe in burn-in or they simply ran out of patience. These Szalayi's are exquisite. I find them supremely comfortable with no pressure build up. The 14mm Planar is doing what only a planar can, bringing out lush vocals with remarkable speed and detail and nuance in strings, toms, pianos, etc.. while beautifully connecting as a perfectly sloped bridge on either end between the DD and BA.
I can't know how Oriolus tuned this thing or how the cross over works but if I were a betting man I'd guess that the planar has been left to operate at full range across the frequency spectrum so that it's playing to it's strengths in each department with the DD coming in underneath to the support and expand the bass while the BA brings the extra air and sparkle up top. A couple of days ago I couldn't say that the SZA had a sparkle - I'd have no reservation saying that today, even though it sits a bit back in the mix. At 20 hours they were we good. At 60 hours they're remarkable,. I can't wait to hit 150..... which for me has been the minimum requirement for every planar I've owned thus far.

So why am I selling them. Since getting my UM Mest Indigo at 2 X the retail price of the Szally, it's where all my listening time has gone. That and also I have the IMR RAH another Triple Hybrid Planar which is similar to the Szally but also a CIEM so more difficult to sell, otherwise it would be listed here and I'd be keeping the Szalayi
