Selling my Stax 007, these are the MK1 in excellent condition overall. To me these are the best sounding Stax timbre wise.

Disclaimer — They are very old and if the cord on the right earcup becomes bent or kinked it will cut off sound to the right earcup temporarily. I’ve looked into getting the cord replaced and it can be done for a few hundred dollars but I’ve never bothered cause it’s not an issue for me when sitting in a chair listening.

For this reason I would sell as-is and only ask $1k for them. This is a somewhat known issue with this model and I’ve been told the cord can fail eventually.
