In fairness to the poster, what they say about European pricing is accurate. Multiple high-end European outlets sell these for 7999EUR.

It might not be a great buy elsewhere, but in mainland Europe that's a very good price for Stax X9000 brand new and unopened. Previous comments are understandable, but a bit unfair.
