For sale as I got a good deal on a Woo WA5 LE first gen from Woo. I’m the 3rd owner of this Pendant. The original owner had the Transformers and choke upgraded by Justin of ampandsound. It’s quieter then the stock Pendant still some hum on hi z with high impedance headphones but tolerable. Amp has good balls behind it with boat load of tube options from EL84/7189(more power), to 3 different driver types in 12a?7 family which does gain of the amp. The rectifier ez81 or equivalent has making of strong precise sound. No sibilance or harsh frequencies. I'd go neutral warm with linear treble. Good if you have sibilant headphones. Sound isn't laid back very powerful sound. Headphones that are LCD 5 with 90db sensitivity work with 14 ohm impedance. Something like 1266 TC at 2 db less but asking for less power from the amp at 47 ohms still works but not at level of amps in $4000 up range. Great amp to dip your toes into tube world. Pendant was actual amp that started my rabbit hole. The package gives you good tubes to start.
