    i know it has been 2 years since the rockbox ipod classic 7g arguement.  but i just wanted to point out (with a thread from 2011 so that it would have been relevant at the time) that the ipod classic (aka 6 6.5 and 7g) are/were rockboxed at the time, they merely weren't part of the rockbox...
