I threw my HD 558 (same chassis, so roughly same size) into my backpack throughout college, but it's not a bluetooth travel headphone by any means.

The headphones that took me down this rabbit hole years ago was the HD 558, so having a chance at an office viable pair in the same form factor is quite appealing.

How many IEMs do y’all usually run? There’s a local seller with a reasonable deal on a U12T and I’m tempted but I don’t know if it’ll provide enough of a difference to my current combo of IER Z1R and Soranik Basilica (custom) to be a good value.

Is there a post/resource that details some of the revisions that the U12T has gone through? I found a local seller offering a U12T with an older logo and now I’m curious as to how things differ.

I recently acquired the MM-R10 plus resin stabilized versions of these headphones and while I didn’t go as far as the thread author around the driver, I also made some changes. I felt the seal with the stock headband was light, and the isolation was pretty weak, so I thought a headband change...

In terms of excitement, I’d say an HD900 series (900 and 920) would get me pumped, as the HD 800S have been my main cans for the past ~3 years.
