No. This will shorten the lifespan of the battery. Charging at 20% and filling to 80-90% will extend the lifespan. Plugged in all the time is a last resort near the end of its lifespan :) If you want it plugged in all the time, I recommend Battery Care on so it charges to 88/89% instead of 100%...

Thank you! I was either misinformed or more likely misunderstood. I'm relieved it has gapless. Probably the same app on all Walkmans. It's a different app on their phones (different division of Sony) and live performances you get that little gap between each track. Of course there's UAPP but...

I have been repeatedly charging and discharging my battery. Rookie mistake 😂 And battery care has made it more frequent.

I've turned mine off every time. I haven't tried leaving it on standby. It does seem to "warm up" after a half hour or so from off.
