FiiO M15S Pocket Desktop-Level Player Discussion & Impressions Thread
What's wrong with the pause/play buttons? They seem to work fine for me in every app ive used (Poweramp, Fiio music, roon arc, roon remote, qobuz, tidal, etc.). (screen on or off, battery or plugged in all work -- latest firmware v1.0.5) Have you all tried resetting the device?- antdroid

FiiO M15S Pocket Desktop-Level Player Discussion & Impressions Thread
One thing I've noticed in using the M15S is that it tends to get really hot, and sometimes overheat when using PD, but does not have any issues with QC adapters. I've noticed this using a few different connection adapters and every time I use PD, and I use the device for a long time it gets hot...- antdroid

FiiO M15S Pocket Desktop-Level Player Discussion & Impressions Thread
While I do agree it would be cool for the extra buttons to be programmable, most flagship daps (really most all daps) only have 4 buttons and some dont even have knobs.... So if you're upset about that, look at the alternatives which have less options.- antdroid

Frequency response at the ear drum
Haha I actually use them with the Spinfit CP360 tips that designed for TWS! They work great with my ears. Im able to get the storm to fit perfectly that it's almost flush with my ears. Ive let others try storm and it sticks out like crazy for them no matter which rip and so I'm sure it sounds...- antdroid

Frequency response at the ear drum
Just keep in mind also that Storm is a rather large IEM with a short nozzle. It may not fit the same from user to user ears and we know that can play a huge impact on each person's listening experience (and also the relative FR to that specific user). Two iems that have the same FR on a test rig...- antdroid

Review by 'antdroid' on item 'Simgot EA1000 "Fermat" In-Ear Monitor'
Simgot's EA1000 "Fermat" is a dynamic driver IEM that features 2-drivers, one of which is a normal powered dynamic driver, and a second one being a passive radiator. While passive radiators are commonly found in desktop powered speakers to get a bass impact response when typical smaller speakers...- antdroid

Subtonic STORM: Impressions and Discussion
The EA1000 is actually my next review coincidentally.... And I do prefer Storm much more than the EA1000, which isn't too bad of an IEM actually.- antdroid

Smallest Very High Quality DAP? (Maybe Kann Max?)
I havent tried the DX260, but the DX240 with Amp8MK2 SE was fantastic. I now use the M15S but its quite a bit bigger. I also have the tiny Hiby R3-II which is palm-sized and sounds great with some MSEB adjustments (software tuning). The Lotoo PAW 6000 is one of my favorite pocketable DAPs. I...- antdroid

Ibasso PB5 the next dedicated portable Amplifier
Hey no problem. We've all had our bad days and just need to move on. I also understand my review was shorter than normal too and I'll likely follow up with a future review after spending a few more months with the amp. I love this thing! It pairs so well with my IEMs, but I will definitely need...- antdroid

Subtonic STORM: Impressions and Discussion
I would definitely put it on the warmer side, but I have not tried the Woo Mini. The only Woo I've owned is the WA7 Fireflies. Because the PB5 has a bass boost (measurable!!), and to me, it sounds more vocal forward and holographic, I put this amp on the more warmer side, but it does not lose...- antdroid

Subtonic STORM: Impressions and Discussion
I saw one of my fav bands, AIR, announce a Moon Safari tour, and it got me re-listening to them on Roon. And then their "radio" started after that and I was listening to all these old trip hop tracks I hadnt heard in forever (stuff like Massive Attack, Portishead, Moorcheeba, Sneaker Pimps...- antdroid
