- On July 30, 2022, I auditioned several speakers at Magnolia. Martin Logan MO40i and MO60i had exaggerated mids, but it sounded nice. B&W 606 and 706 were okay, not bad like I expected when listening on axis. Many other speakers were disappointing though.
On August 7, 2022 went to downtown and all HiFi stores were closed, then went to BestBuy Magnolia, and to my surprise a kind person named Sabrina let me audition the $30k+ Kef Blades, and took the time to help me audition several speakers. I really enjoyed the Kef R11, so I bought them and an integrated amp. The amp turned out not to have DiracLive, so I had to go back later and return the SA20 for the SA30, bought the wrong amp that time :D. Learned two things, for Magnolia purchases BestBuy TotalTech 2year warranty doesn't apply to Magnolia purchases. Additionally if you return something, then buy from Bestbuy using app the Magnolia purchases come with total tech, but it doesn't give the Magnolia rep the commission/sales.
