HIFIMAN New Desktop DAC/Amps: EF500 and EF499!
Yes the prices are so, SO normal. I think it's quite the feat they did with such a price. Hifiman is doing very well for budget offerings now, too. That's quite something.- AT Khan

Impressions | aune AR5000 Full-Size Open Headphones with MLD Driver
The video tells us that AUNE has put in a lot of time and effort into these. I'm sure a lot a couple of other headphones have been researched and assessed to bring together the best of the best for these. I expect great soundstage, and a very solid build - something that's been put together that...- AT Khan

New Release: Dekoni X Hifiman Cobalt Baffle
Wow such a coincidence I was just thinking about this tuning element in my EMU like 2,3 days ago, and how it affected the headphones a lot once I had taken it out momentarily. And suddenly this! I think Dekoni read my mind, or I, theirs! @Hyde00 Yeah in case you're wondering, I'd wager it will...- AT Khan

Of course, you’re not gonna talk about this cheap as a pack of peanuts solution. Where’s the money in that? Everyone’s here to make money, and everyday some new alt-tech appears: More Balanced Armatures! Dozen More drivers! Multiple crossovers! Silver Gold Platinum Diamond Cables! Bone...- AT Khan

The issue is – Audiophilia is a money market. Marketing. Promotions. Every new day someone pops with some new crap, charging you money, again, and saying this new Z product will crap on the X product you already have. Then it’s us. Contant itch to get something new. They want us to keep buying...- AT Khan

TOTL – YES. Big yes. Endgame class? Maybe. Probably. For me at the moment, definitely. The fact that $1.5 can be THIS DAMN BANG for your buck is absolutely crazy. $2. Endgame. Two dollars: Endgame. Doesn't even sound right does it? Audio Blasphemy? Sure. But what gives. And I can't lie. Now...- AT Khan

@LaughMoreDaily. The Vidos were great then, and are great now. They HAVE been reviewed here on headfi with plenty of other earbuds. Just like our friend @brianforever suggests, earbuds can reach far out and beyond – personally, I myself have strayed from IEMs and stuff as my headphone...- AT Khan

I thoroughly agree with this review. I've also found the similarities with the Vido and Yinkrow, BloodyPenguin has these reviews as well. Everything is correct here. I had Vidos before but I think I gave them to someone. I just got another 2 pairs again (blue). From memory, the last time I had...- AT Khan

Which are some of the heaviest headphones ever forged in the pits of hell?
Yeah that's quite embarrassing. I'll work on a new alternative mod this week to strip off some weight.- AT Khan

Which are some of the heaviest headphones ever forged in the pits of hell?
I stumbled upon this place in the diabolical deep, so I figured I'd share something. My modded M1060Cs. This one is modded (like ZMF inspired 3D printed earcups, Fazor+earpad mounting disc etc.) so, I could bring the weight down some time, but I wouldn't want it to change how it sounds cuz...- AT Khan

Yeah you're right actually. They're for Denon, the inner ear holes are larger, so not X00 stock.- AT Khan

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
Lol that's funny. Could be so. Yeah they're pretty close. At least they have the same narrow openings (more hit with sound, more miss with comfort) as the ones with wider openings that I have stray further away from stock sound. Somehow though the OEM pads are a very stiff foam and keep their...- AT Khan

Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review
"Ear pads will ALWAYS change sound signature. Your best bet is to ask for protein leather replacement pads from E-Mu." Ain't that the truth. I did find one to my liking, and also at least leather, so you won't have flaking down the road. Also, they sound closest to stock sound as I have tried...- AT Khan
