Very first impressions on the H50 is wide Soundstage and more mature sound over the H40 (on Shanling M6 with stock cable in 4.4mm). Bass and mid bass are a little reduced compared to the H40. I am burning them in at the moment, hoping to a little more slam on the low frequencies after the DD...

I use it on long road trip and never have problems with the shanling app. If I am using it connected using Amazon music, sometimes the app closes by itself at random. I think it is more an Amazon music app issue but I thought I would mention it. Otherwise solid player, only wish we would get a...

Ahah, I'm with you on this one. My current favorite set is the L9 with its thunderous bass but I am not against some good BA bass, it will complement my collection nicely. It's a little long but I am OK with it, knowing that it is a sort of limited edition 😉
