Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread
The built looks cheap, but the Libra (balanced) sounds rock solid. I changed to a silver plated cable, and it gives amazing details and soundstage. The waifu tuning and mids weight is new to the KZ family, interesting try. The Castor and the Trio are both good in technicalities, while the Libra...- countryboyhk

Imagine KZ has a waifu sound  The balanced version of Libra is more like an ungraded version of EW200 with better clarity, soundstage and bass to me, rather than the Aria 2. Btw, wish you are the lucky one to win a free iem.- countryboyhk

Its sq is simply better than CHU II, no doubt about it, let see how far it can go with some burn in. Good to see KZ finally try the holographic way of tuning.- countryboyhk

So unfortunately I owned a Aria 2 before, and its been sent to the trash box due to seriously chipping and oxidizing. The Libra shares similar intimate tuning but still cant match the Aria 2 lush and bodied. On the other hand, the Libra's soundstage and dynamic range is extremely good within...- countryboyhk

First impression, the resolution can compete with my Castor Bass, with better imaging, more airy sounding. So glad to see KZ still launch new iem without switches.- countryboyhk

Tried both demos of Libra, prefered the balanced version over the high res. Overall smooth and neutral sounding, not as bassy as the Trio. The high res. version of Libra is a bit bright to me. Both version have amazing sound quality with an unbeatable price.- countryboyhk

UUUU with a single crystal copper cable, the Trio sounds warm spicy but smooth treble, bass has very great attack. The $20 Trio has more mature and versatile tuning than the Hydro imo.- countryboyhk

I wont respect a company which can't even deal with a simple problem like chipping, and keep fooling consumers with fancy waifu. There are always many established and cheap smartphone solutions from China that you can buy from. A 99% look alike iphone latest gen. is priced less than $150 only...- countryboyhk

M My experience of Class A mode from Hiby R5II is the sound become much warmer, a bit "raw" with tiny bit of background noises. Which makes it sounds like analogue. I just wonder whether R4 implementing the same class A solution as the R5II?- countryboyhk

Thank you for the advices. Been using alcohol wipe to clean, but no luck. I am getting very uncomfortable day by day, then i start to check its shell, not the way around. It makes me itchy simply looking at it now. I give them a second chance, and Moondrop returns me with more surprises!- countryboyhk
