Denon HP700 vs Fischer FA-003 vs Fostex T50RP vs M50s
I'm listening to the Denons right now, I got them last week, and they've been very, very enjoyable. Very clean sound, clear, with a present bass, and great mids and highs. It's great for it's price. Search around the forums for the couple threads on them. I can say they're a great improvement...- DocTavia

Wireless headphone - Best bang for the buck?
There seems to be not a lot of good wireless headphones, and due to this most people on this forum disregard them. You always lose a lot of precious sound quality no matter what you spend, but it can be better. I really don't know any quality wireless headphones, sorry.- DocTavia

Quote: Been said to be very solid headphones for their retail price of $100-$150, with a sturddy but creaky design. (Probably high-density plastic, just with creaky joints)- DocTavia

Quote: I don't think it's a price mistake, they've sold ~10 units since I posted that link though, so I'd think it would be hard for them to back out anyways. I'd go for it if it weren't for my unfortunate geographic placement, hehe.- DocTavia

Non-audiophile reactions to high-end headphones
It's only light wavelengths, hehe. UV rays may be able to cause skin cancer, but i don't think bluetooth signals are going to hurt you just as much as radio signals. (Those things are EVERYWHERE, literally swamping everything.)- DocTavia

Superlux 668B's broken...or not?
I think the best you could do is buy a soldering iron and some solder and learn how to do it through youtube, or you could probably even go to a local hardware or craft store that sells soldering irons, and ask around if you could pay someone $10 to solder a joint or two for you, since I'm not...- DocTavia

If you're looking for portables or IEMs/earbuds, you can ask over at the portables subforum just under this one, but if you are looking for portable full-sized headphones, I'll let other make the recommendations. http://www.head-fi.org/f/103/portable-headphones-earphones-and-in-ear-monitors- DocTavia

Headphones for Travel/Office
I'll leave the actual headphone recommendations to other, but I can recommend a way to store them. Just browse any regular retail store like Wal-Mart for some tupperware dishes, and find one that would fit your specific set of headphones. (Though if you got a bigger size you could fit whatever...- DocTavia

monoprice 8323 A more "bassy" compliment to Shure Srh-440
They aren't bad headphones, especially at that price. I'd pull the trigger on them if you wanted a more coloured backup headphone.- DocTavia
