Pioneer's First Portable Amp XPA-700
Anyone know what specific kind/brand of volume control the xpa700 uses? A model number would be good for further research. Thanks.- DPogster

New Schiit! Ragnarok and Yggdrasil
@gulbuddin it's fine to not like a product as long as you explain why you didn't like the product and give evidence to support your decision or thoughts. To help you along let me ask you to answer a few questions: 1. How long have you owned and used the Yggy and in what chain of products? 2...- DPogster

New Schiit! Ragnarok and Yggdrasil
I don't personally own the Hugo but did get to audition it at SoCal CanJam 2015 for a time as I was looking for a nice portable dac/amp and though it was decent it didn't cut the mustard, especially given its price. When compared to the Yggy, I much prefer Yggy over Hugo. Yggy is more resolving...- DPogster

New Schiit! Ragnarok and Yggdrasil
Okay, I've had the RYggy stack running for approx 1 wk and 4 days with a continuous load throughout that time and all I can say is that The Yggy is remarkable. It's clean, quiet, fluid, dynamic, and now effortless in its presentation of all audio sound and music regardless of genre. I've thrown...- DPogster

Finding a DAC for the Cavalli Liquid Carbon. Only Four Months to Go.
Would you please expand further. In what way(s) does the micro idsd better the zdac? The zdac and idsd micro along with stealth dc1 are on my radar at the moment. Any performance comparisons between them would be appreciated.- DPogster

@bolos if you can't hear the difference then save yourself some $$$ and return the Yggy. Either the Yggy is defective or your ears have already reached its peak performance that can be heard with the lower cost modi system. Don't keep it if it doesn't do it for ya.- DPogster

Finding a DAC for the Cavalli Liquid Carbon. Only Four Months to Go.
Oh, going big with Yggy. Hot, heavy, good sounding piece of engineering. Agree Schiit people deserve support. Wish they would shrink Yggy down and make a transportable version to match with LC.- DPogster

The Hd12 looks good but a little too rich for my blood at 1400. Would love to hear it though.- DPogster
