    Audeze Mobius review / impressions

Does anyone have much experience changing out the pads to the gel pads? How does this affect the sound and seal? I have no issues with the original pads but find them a bit deflated and I'm not sure if I'm getting a proper seal. Are the gel pads better for people with smaller ears cos I have a...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

I couldn't agree more. Personally I'd be happy if the Isines were my only headphone. Yes, they're that good.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Hey would it be better to get a used iPhone 6s and use that instead of an iPod touch for the cipher cable? I only ask as I know the battery capacity is almost double in the iPhone 6s and if there's no sim in it I imagine it'd last longer than an iPod touch?

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

I had the 64 Audio U6s and thought they were the most natural sounding items until I heard the 20s. Have spent a lot of time with the u12s as well and yeah they've got nothing on the Isines, except maybe slightly better treble extension.

Fostex TH900 Impressions & Discussion Thread

OK, first let me say that to me punch implies quick hard hitting impact, like that of a punch. But it's midbass focussed so therefore the physical impact it actually has on your jaw at that frequency is an illusion of sound. Slam is more subbass which is felt via bone conduction as it vibrates...

Fostex TH900 Impressions & Discussion Thread

All I know is when I put them on and listen to music it vibrates through my skull and chest. If that's not slam then I don't know what is.

The Th900 has plenty of slam.

I gave mine a listen the other day for the first time in ages and it just reminded me why I keep them even tho I don't listen to them very often. That bass, that slam.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Well that's the plan. I bought the Isines so I didn't have to use any other headphones and tbh the Mojo doesn't pair that well with my Th900s so might as well sell it. If anyone in Oz is selling an iPod touch hit me up.

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Well, just tried the cypher cable and now I'm a bit annoyed. I don't understand what trickery is going on in that little cable but it sounds as if they come to life a lot more and that planar bass and smoothness is even more prominent. Probably gonna sell my mojo now and buy an iPod...

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

Hmm..I tried using the EQ profile that audeze submitted earlier in the thread and I must say they do sound fuller and more engaging. It sounds as though the mojo is holding them back as it's soundstage is quite compressed.

Can you elaborate more on cypher vs mojo. All I've read so far are empty statements comparing both of them.

Starting Point Systems portable NOS DAC

Best DAC I've bought. The sound signature of it reminds me of that natural sound you get from planars. The main characteristic I find pleasing with this as someone with experience with drums is that I can actually hear and feel the air being amplified from the instruments. There's a natural...
