New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

I did my "due diligence" and read every review and post before buying my pair. I can only say I can add to the positive reviews online. My pair is top quality, from the unboxing to the build quality to the sound quality. They are beautifully made and sound far better than any Bluetooth...

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

Great Bluetooth 5.2 Range with New Dali IO-12. Just Beautiful Sound! I received them two and a half hours ago, and they haven't left my head. They sound great. I am a Focal Utopia and Audeze LCD-5 user, and the sound quality may not be as good, but it is the same warmish, neutral, fun sound as...

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

Beeping- I hear occasional beeps on my new IO-12s. It happens when someone passes my Ring doorbell long with the Ring chime, but sometimes it happens without any provocation - any idea why?

New Dali iO-12 ANC Headphones – Impressions Thread

I am about to pull the trigger on the Dali IO-12. Sound is everything—almost. I am wondering if the Mark Levinson may be more comfortable. The huge earpads look like they may be too warm to wear for more than 30 minutes. Having both—which do you prefer?

    Campfire Audio Multiverse

Now that you mention it they did come with three very thing uncomfortable "cheapo" cables. I immediately looked for upgrades and checked Bloom and Amazon. The Litz seems good enough sonically and they are comfortable.

That would be me- what would you like to know? I also bought the Super Smokey Litz cable (a comfortable small upgrade).

Stick a fork in me, I'm done. Dr. says "No more Headphones".... : (

Neal Young as well as hundreds if not thousands of tinnitus sufferers keep listening and enjoying music. No I don’t use closed back headphones at loud volumes but I just bought a shamefully priced KEF speaker setup for my desktop and I still love music. Put in a White//pink noise machine or one...

Stick a fork in me, I'm done. Dr. says "No more Headphones".... : (

I appreciate your thoughts. I have an appt with an ENT on Thursday and I am sure he will send me to an audiologist. A couple of years back, I was listening with noise-canceling headphones all night and I was also getting into this hobby. I felt a slight tremor in my left ear, I suppose, from the...

You left out stupidity. I had very occasional noticeable tinnitus, but it never seemed constant or I didn't notice it. I bought a Dragonfly Cobalt- like the Red or my ifi Go Bar wasn't enough and turned on Roon, which played at maximum volume and I thought my head was "going to explode"- I...

iFi audio GO Bar - The Best Pocketable HiFi System, Bar None!

I use both- the Go Bar for weight and the Gold Go Bar for sound quality. I would sy the improvement in sound in perhaps 10-15% if it can even be quantified. It just sound a bit more detailed. It depends on your source as well. It's a little better so if you ewant the best and can pay the...

    Campfire Audio Multiverse

Quick question- I just tried the new cables, and the ear loops are very stiff. Do they loosen/soften up, or is that just the way it is? Thanks for your time.

    Campfire Audio Multiverse

Thanks very much- I just ordered them. What do you think of the FH9? The FH7 & FH9 were on my radar for a while. I wound up with Moondrop Blessing 2 as a reboot into IEMs just for while I'm getting ready to sleep to wind down. I was into IEMs for a while until wireless became prevalent. My high...

You are speaking of the LC-RD? Are they the cables you say are "very nice"?

I bought the exact Solaris Mercury from that 78-piece lot. I love the sound, but the three cables are thin and uncomfortable around my ears after extended listening. The Solaris sounds spectacular. I can get that Fiio cable at Amazon to give it a test- would you recommend it? The marketing...
