    Why would I buy a desktop amp for an iem? Makes no sense to me. The E5k sounds great with a btr5 as well. But it’s definitely not worth the full price since E3k does what it does without an amp. I have both and E5k isn’t that far from E3k imo

    Final Audio E4000 or 5000 with Fiio BTR7 ?

    E5k needs a lot of power. I’m using my iPhone with apple dongle and my Sony nw a105 it sounds very low for me but better on my MacBook Air m1 although I reach the limit easily. I think the btr7 should drive them well.

    Oops. I love the A4000s even more than E5000s :) the treble energy, fit, tangle free cable, easier to drive qualities triumphs E5000s atleast a little bit imo

    Apologies if this was asked already. Is there a sonic difference with final e black coloured and the transparent ones? Somewhere on Reddit I read that the transparent ones elevate the treble a bit and would like to try on my e5ks. Thanks
