MrSpeakers ETHER Flow and ETHER C Flow -- Inspired by Electrostatic Headphones

I recommend watching the video but for abbreviations, if you have the Open-back Ethers, upgrade to Ethers Flow, but if you have Ether C, just EQ it and don't bother with the Flow version.

The video is also up, he's not impressed with it. It doesn't perform as well in the closed back category as it's open back counter part.

ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF

So how did the 3d printed cup versions of your Vibro, Omni, and Atticus/Eikon sound? More clinical? Boring? Classified?

ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF

That is true, since the cost of the custom molding machine and the factory that makes it for you would have to be past down to the consumers. But I do know a lot PC nerds with their own 3d printer, so maybe they can do 3d print version of your cups instead.

ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF

If that is true, would it make sense to also have a cup made of synthetic material such as a thick plastic to save material cost, wood is probably expensive as **** especially if your choosing fancy types. The Alpha Prime for example is a thick 3d printed layer of plastic. You can probably go a...

ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF

Alright, since ya'll gonna be getting the latest and greatest from Zach, I thought I'd share a supplemental source for ya'll to assess strictly the soundstage, imaging, and other nuances in the performance of Atticus/Eikon, and compare it to Omni or other cans in your collection. I know you...

What do you guys use as a benchmark to gauge soundstage and imaging? I personally, use Battlefield 4 in Stereo configuration and sound profile in Hi-Fi mode, it's very dynamic and you can almost pinpoint gunshots withing 5 meters of margin of error at different distances. I know most of you...

Fostex T50RP Incremental Mods and Measurements

Has there been any measurements for the T50RP wave guides, or has that been scrapped?

Ah gotcha! Speaking of mahogany, will that be a wood you'd be interested in making cups? Or, do you already have a wood option with similar characteristics?

A while back when I was ogling at the wood finish options for Fischer Audio's FA-003 Ti headphones, this detail little detail on one of the wood options got me intrigued.    Quote:       Quote:         My question is, does the same apply for your wood cups, zach915m? Or...

Does ZMF do wood finish retouch?

Wow, that's great! All the more reason being an early adopter isn't all what it makes out to be.  Are you going to be selling those felts and charcoal foam as a separate accessories, like how Mr.Speakers sells his tuning dots and Ether felts?

ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF

zach915m, are you going to use the same thin foams and tissue papers from your past mods to tune your drivers exterior wise?   I'm hoping this is one thing that you've improved over your modded headphones, because for the price of $1000+ I think it's strikingly odd and out of place, even dare...

Ahh, thanks. I don't see the point going beyond 50mm either, unless there was a magnet that can remain small yet powerful enough to drive it, otherwise, you're better off going planar magnetic route for a diaphragm that big. Thanks.
