GlenAppleton
Some history: While I was never a true audiophile throughout my formative years, I did grow up in a household in the 70's and 80's with both my father and brother always searching for that audiophile (ish) sound. My father would build integrated amplifier kits that would include upgraded vacuum tubes and overpowered output amplifiers, and my brother, studying electrical / acoustic engineering, building different speakers, experimenting with drivers, baffle systems, materials, and so on.

TLDR : My high end audio experience to date has been mostly second hand, but I have developed what I believe to be a true appreciation for high(er) quality music gear and now I feel that I am returning to my roots.
