Douk Audio U2 Pro DDC - Poorman DDC for an affordable & clean digital signal
I think only Gustard U18 would be better than this (on paper). Do you agree?- Guipnox

Douk Audio U2 Pro DDC - Poorman DDC for an affordable & clean digital signal
The store is YI FAN 4.4 Store. On a different matter, I wonder how this little thing (it's from Lusya) would help (a much cheaper option):- Guipnox

Douk Audio U2 Pro DDC - Poorman DDC for an affordable & clean digital signal
Unfortunately: Still tempted to buy it because I don't think a better DDC with AES/EBU can be found close to this price.- Guipnox

Douk Audio U2 Pro DDC - Poorman DDC for an affordable & clean digital signal
I was about to buy that one yesterday because I need AES/EBU. It's good to know that it's a real DDC. Thanks! Oh my bad. I read your statement wrongly. I hope someone confirms that it's a real DDC. I'm going to plug it into a Violectric DAC V800 -> Adcom GFA-5400 -> Adcom GFS-6 speaker selector...- Guipnox

Hifiman HE6-SE
Wait till you power it through speaker taps :) I'm about to trade back my modded HE6se. Now trying to decide between a TEAC receiver with 90W @ 8 Ohm or a SKP Max-320 with 110W @ 8 Ohm Still have no DAC. Probably going with Motu M4 (because I want to produce/mix electronic music). I find my...- Guipnox

Douk Audio U2 Pro DDC - Poorman DDC for an affordable & clean digital signal
Hey guys, Which LPS do you recommend for Douk U2 Pro? From AliExpress. I plan to do the clock mod @sajunky did a few pages ago. Can you help me too, please? Thanks in advance, Gui- Guipnox

The discovery thread!
Do they scale with power? I have a HP setup that got tons of it. Maybe an earbud like that would be a nice addition to synergize with it. Definitely intrigued.- Guipnox

HifiMan HE6 V2 Adorama
You used weak amps for HE6seV2. That's why you heard "piercing bright and shouty".- Guipnox

GUSTARD DAC-R26 Balanced Decoder R2R+1Bit Dual Native Decoding Music Bridge
I can answer #2 You just install the U18 drivers. Then Audirvana detects it and your R26 plays accordingly. I used U18 with X26 Pro with Audirvana too. Very nice results. I used trial of http://jplay.eu/manual/ + FidelizerPro (Windows) and even more dynamic/textured bass. Definitely recommend to...- Guipnox

Master Clock Talk
Damn. I have X26 Pro and U18. Waiting for P26. Now I'm tempted to buy OCK-2 just to see how it improves everything. I'm using Crown D-75A mono blocks to power a modded Hifiman HE6se. So no stereo (yet?).- Guipnox

Meze Audio 109 Pro
Nice. I hope I can bring a 109 Pro to Brazil one day. They seem awesome. On a different matter, may I suggest you a planar that has slam and dynamics, while maintaining nice clarity and texture, with a holographic stage? Hifiman HE6seV2. $399 new. Insane. You have a TOTL DAC and a nice amp...- Guipnox

Hifiman HE6-SE
Nice. Great cans indeed. Endgame worthy for many. Just need a few tweaks/mods. How do they compare to your Sennheiser cans in timbre, resolution, stage?- Guipnox
