i'm thinking on returning this card since Creative is not really clear about the 32/384Khz. this works only on Direct mode (2 speakers or Headphones) it will not work on the other settings, so out of the Direct mode it will work "only" at 24/96Khz. that's pretty strange since the old Asus Xonar...

ok, so my X1 is the same model as yours. i tried again and the only problem i have is trying to play DSD files, Davy is check with an user with the X1A version and probably something broke on the driver. i think he will fix it quickly.

How many DP versions exist? X1 X1A X1B?

DSD play is broken, i get the DAC error.

No differences on UI from the previous 4.x.x version, that strings ( direct - sample rate ) are not related to the direct driver now used, so you don't have any visual information about that. Settings > HiRes audio > HiRes driver flags = all unticked you need to leave unticked all the options...
