Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
Thank you for the recommendation. I tried both and will be returning the hexa. I like the sound of both (neutral tuning) but simgot has an airy "open" sound which is a plus (not as isolating as hexa though) and the fit is just plush for my ears.- jailhouselounge

I think I'll keep the t2+ and wait until black friday to pick up a possible upgrade should I so desire. Need to save money for engagement and other stuff later down the line. Really appreciate people's feedback and input here 😊.- jailhouselounge

I really love the t2+ sound sig especially for the price - I was astounded. The only issue for me is the fit. While it doesn't fall off or anything, I wonder how it'll (tin t2+ and/or fh3) do once I start traveling as I'll be walking and moving around quite a bit.- jailhouselounge

Cancelled the FH3 and opted for the T2 Plus. Crossing fingers on the MMCX... I will use it as an all-rounder and for travel.- jailhouselounge

Thank you for the input! Will check it out. I've read some reviews about the Fiio FD1 and EA1 as well as other popular IEMs but I'm wondering how much of an upgrade the FH3 would be from the more affordable offerings. I'm avoiding getting into the rabbit hole if I could buy one that I can use as...- jailhouselounge

CHIFI LOVE Thread-A never ending IEM-Heaphones-DAP-Dongles Sound Value Quest
Hello, can someone guide me through this? Out of all my IEMs and headphones (nothing crazy), I highly prefer the audeo pfe 121 due to fit for long sessions and the sound signature - balanced and relaxed coupled with clarity and enough bass punch but not overly fatiguing nor does the bass bleed...- jailhouselounge

Oh is that so? I'm thinking of getting something within the $100+ margin. I wonder how it fares with Zen. Something with clarity and good bass impact would be ideal!- jailhouselounge

What would you consider to be a step up from Monk Plus within $20, $50, $100 price range? Will use them for jazz, chillout, and rock.- jailhouselounge

Thanks for the response! I typically prefer balanced iems with good extension (sold my fidue a83) and have recently tried balanced-dark bassier ones. I listen to various genres jazz, rock, chill, drum n bass, classical, etc. I'm very open to recommendations and don't necessarily have a budget...- jailhouselounge

Very interesting thread. I just received my monk plus a few days ago and I am so surprised by it. Could you guys give recommendations on other earbuds by price and performance? I'm looking at SEAHF and FAAEAL but I don't know their sound signature.- jailhouselounge
