    Smyth Research Realiser A16

Hi, Does anyone know if Smyth offer discounts on Black Friday? I'm considering one but the price in Euros (plus VAT and shipping) is a hard pill to swallow considering what surrounds this company and the malfunctioning units some users seem to be experiencing. Thanks

iFi audio iCAN Phantom - Vanish into the music!

As owner of both the original Pro ICAN and the IESL it’s great to get advice from the designer, I was also wondering whether Phantom would make sense to me and this feedback was helpful and much appreciated. May I ask if there’s a noticeable improvement sound wise in "upgrading" from the...

Matrix Element S - finally a dedicated streamer from Matrix!

Thanks a lot!, that was helpful 🙏 Actually the reason I asked you is because I read you were also working on the review for Darko. I'm looking for a secondary streamer for my home-office space to combine with some DACs (ZH1ES, WA7 Fireflies, IDAC+IHA-6) for Tidal use mostly, so I don't care...

Matrix Element S - finally a dedicated streamer from Matrix!

@project86, are you able to share any thoughts on how this Matrix streamer compares to the hyped Eversolo DMP A6 (as a streamer)? Thank you

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

My TT2 just died last night :rage::rage::rage: I was listening to music and after about 2 hours music simply stopped. I realized the problem was the TT2 had turned off and I have not been able to turn it on again. The PSU does not seem to be the problem (I tried using M Scaler's PSU with TT2...

Review Opportunity - Dekoni Audio's Headphone Hero Travel Case

Rather than selling expensive headphones in cases that just take storage space, high-end brands should do something like this or partner with Dekoni. As someone who commuted to work before COVID, that's the type of case I wish high-end headphone brands would offer (Audeze being an exception and...

    Chord 2Go & 2Yu Wired/Wireless Network streamer and S/PDIF adaptor - Official thread

I agree, it's misleading purporting that you can use Tidal right away with the GoFigure App. I got my 2Go around a week ago, my main goal was to use it to stream Tidal, fortunately I been able to do so quite easily with the MConnte App and never had any playback issues. I'm mostly happy with...

    HIFIMAN HE-R10P Loaner Tour

Interested. I'm located in Barcelona, Europe. I could compare the HE-R10P with the Fostex TH900, Beyerdynamic T5P 2nd Gen, Pioneer Monitor 5, Sony Z1R and/or ZMF Verité Closed.

The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies

I find Xelento the best option in terms of comfort for sleeping, more than the IE800S, because even if the Senns are also small they don't have a flat surface which is best when turning your head. I do not own the Fourte but I A/B them against my Trió. Soundwise the Fourté are better than the...

I went to sleep with the Nio, it’s fine provided you don’t turn your head. For going to sleep the most comfortable IEMs I used are hands down the Beyerdynamic Xelento, great sound, just not Nio level, and you can turn your head as much as you want.
