Can I just glue the headphone jack tip back on?
I managed to break off the part above the last black ring on the jack and I need a time machine. But since I can't find one of those right now I'll need some DIY. I was hoping it would be fine to just superglue the tip back on. Seems simple enough. Has anybody tried it with good results?- KElyas

Hey thanks for the reply. I tried your suggestion but to no avail, one channel is still dead I'm afraid. Any more ideas head-fi before I just have to give up and upgrade?- KElyas

Vintage stereo amp only outputs through one speaker (HELP)
Hey guys, Earlier today I was happily playing music on my turntable and then I went for a couple hours; when I came back and turned everything on plugged in my headphones I was surprised to find music only playing through one driver! I thought perhaps the headphone had developed a fault but...- KElyas

Loud turntable hum even with ground wire connected
Hi Head-Fi, So I've just set up my first turntable and everything is going fine except than the loud humming. It becomes a lot quieter only when the ground wire is connected and I touch the screw or the surrounding area at the same time. So using that information, can anybody...- KElyas

Shure SRH 940 impression and support thread
I've tried the original Momentum, not really a fan. I can't explain it but I find them artificial sounding and not so easy to listen to. I ended up opting for the Beyerdynamic DT-250 which I'm very happy with. I guess I prefer flat headphones.- KElyas

Would this cable mod work?
thanks for the reply and it would be nicer but it would require more work whilst also voiding the warranty (it's only a week old!) and if anything goes wrong, the headphone itself would still remain in good condition.- KElyas

Would this cable mod work?
to cut the above cable to just a few centimeters in length and then solder a female 3.5mm jack to make the DT-250 headphone able to make use of generic male to male 3.5mm cables? Source: http://www.thomann.de/gb/beyerdynamic_k10900.htm- KElyas

90's Hip Hop Recommendations?
Ill Al Scratch - Creep Wit Me (1994) is pretty cool, not as dark like the ones you listed but worth a spin. but It would be easier to recommend if you had a full list of albums/artists that you've already got. -
The R&B thread (we need some soul up in here)
Hey I think this song is great and enjoy contemporary R&B too. I'm not criticizing your choice of music at all, but the way you immaturely dismiss other types of music. -
The Beyerdynamic DT250 Thread
Thanks to to this thread I'm now the happy owner of a pair of DT-250s. They're really comfortable for me even with the tight grip which I'm pleased with. Nice flat, clean sound with surprisingly tight, deep bass. :D- KElyas

Sony has new headphones, MDR-1R
I disagree with the statement that they have a similar sound signature.they're both pretty mainstream, don't you have some stores nearby where you can demo both?- KElyas

Any headphones similar to the SRH-940?
Hey guys, So I demoed the 940s the other day and must say that I was very impressed by them and loved the sound. My only gripe is the lack of mid bass (for me), making the drum kicks in certain songs not hit as hard as I would like. I'll be going to a larger demo room on Friday so can anyone...- KElyas
