You don't need to bring anything to attend. You can just come by and listen and chat with others.

Note that setup and takedown may take more time than you think. Also, never underestimate the need for schmoozing among members of this community. That said, I'd hope to find a better price... maybe from a library.

Where's the space? Is there parking close enough for loading and unloading. My guess is that you could probably get 10 or 20 people who would be willing to pay $5 or $10. I'd pick a date or dates and a price point and run it up the the flagpole. You can always say that the event depends on...

Exhibitors are going to be up late tonight. At previous CANJAM NYC, setup was all day friday

It's 5:30 pm on Friday 2/24 and I'm at the Marriott. CANJAM is scheduled for the 6th floor but the 6th floor is currently occupied by another event. WHEN IS YOUR SETUP? The meet starts at 10:00 am tomorrow. What's going on?
