Creative Labs X-Fi Titanium HD PCI-E
A bit expensive for a sound card, but its the best thing you can buy for a audiophile / gamer. Even if you just listened to music i dont see how you can go wrong with this card. While many people may complain about switching modes cut off the sound, i just leave it in audio creation mode and im perfectly content, never any driver issues here. These have some sort of amp built in, enough to power any headphone. -
Apple iPod classic 160 GB (7th Generation)
Got this from a pawn shop in the hood. Prob stolen and sold to buy drugs which clearly adds value. My last one died slowly from dropping upwards of 50 times, i got myself a SEXY hard case and some sennheiser cx680i headphones for the gym, and a FiiO E5 amp. Thing is wonderful Ill add pics to show my case! -

The headphones to the 3.5mm jack is about 2 feet, way too short to reach from your... -

I added a X-Fi Titanium HD soundcard (after reading much about sound cards, i game alot so this was the obvious choice.) and i replaced my old HD202 headphones. (The best 20 dollar headphones you could ask for<3) I trusted the sennheiser brand so i was looking down their product line looking for a suitable pair of headphones.I didnt want to break the bank, i didnt even know what high quality cans sounded like, i was only going off reviews. My...
