Eagle, from what I understand the V6 and 7506 are identicle except for the gold plated jack on the 7506. I could be wrong but thats what some folk have been telling me...and yeah Im quite happy with these. I mean my cd60 sounded good to me...i just wanted more, but i was wrong about what sounds...

oh yeah, is there a break in period for head phones? like should i not push them too hard for a certain amount of hours?

yeah...im already thinking of modding these puppies....ive heard that the pads from another headphone fit these and that they are deeper which is exactly what i want....I think ill find out which ones to buy and order 'em.
