Shure KSE1500 Review - Shure KSE1500 Sound Isolating Electrostatic Earphones
As my good Friend Spook mentioned, I have no popping sounds with the iPhone 7 plus going straight into my KSE energizer. If you continue to have an issue, you may want to look at your cable. Good luck.- M Coupe

MrSpeakers ETHER C Review / Announcement - A New Closed-Back Planar Magnetic Flagship from MrSpeakers
Hey- I have had my Ether C's for a couple weeks. I bought them from Mr. Speakers rep at Canlanta rep directly with the DUM cable. I bought them after auditioning the Ether 1 year earlier. They had gotten into my head and I couldn't quite shake my memory of them. At the time, I listened to...- M Coupe

Shure KSE1500 Review - Shure KSE1500 Sound Isolating Electrostatic Earphones
I have the luxury of having a great Hi-Fi (Revel Studios, Rowland and etc...) and great headphone gear. To me the biggest difference is soundstage/presence. Not even the might HD800 can cast a soundstage like a modest Hi-Fi (Not even close). Sure the HD800 can be breathtaking but nothing...- M Coupe

Canlanta 2016
Very nicely done event. It will take a couple years for this event to get the traffic it deserves. I do hope they will make this event an annual event.- M Coupe

Shure KSE1500 Review - Shure KSE1500 Sound Isolating Electrostatic Earphones
I have no desire to argue sound. I can say without reservation the KSE is the finest IEM I have ever owned. I don't pretend to know the science behind FR or THD or Decay models but I do know what I think sounds good to me. The KSE does it. I am interested in looking at charts to explain why...- M Coupe

Closer to SE846 than W60. The K10 is better in every way except the deepest bass articulation. Other than that, the midrange is less forward and clearer. Treble has better extension too. I often joke that the K10 is like the SE1046. If you like the house sound of shure but want a more...- M Coupe

Have you heard the W60 and SE846? I have owned them both and they could not be more different. If you prefer the SE846 but don't want the impedence issues, then look at the K10. The W60 is good but it's sound is not for everyone.- M Coupe

SONY NW-ZX2
I previously owned the W60. Although I sold mine over a year ago and did not have the ZX2 at the time, my gut says it will have no problem. I recall the sensitivity of it to the K10 that replaced it and the K10 is easily driven by the ZX2(I feel safe saying the ZX2 by comparison could easily...- M Coupe

As Spook mentioned, I have both the HUGO and Mojo. The KSE1500 sounds better with the MOJO to my ears.- M Coupe

The Hugo and Mojo are different but equal. I own both. The Hugo offers greater transparency. The Mojo is warmer and arguably more natural. With my KSE I prefer the mojo. With other gear I prefer the HUGO. That is why I own both. Picking a winner from head fi posts is like magazine racing...- M Coupe
