Excellent review...if I had a rating system for reviews I think I'd give that a 10/10! You've finally motivated me to try out the other nozzles since now I have an idea of what to listen for. So far I've only used the red-ring nozzle that it came with.

I think this is a trick to force me to buy the EA500LM. I don't believe I'll like it better than the EA1000, but now I feel I need to compare them myself to satisfy my curiosity. At the very least, I'll have a different flavor of Simgot to enjoy as I like their house sound.

I haven't read this whole thread but I saw a video earlier where the Quattro was pretty much trashed, so this is surprising. Very confusing though....can't figure out if it's worth purchasing or not. It's either fantastic or terrible.

Why would you think the EA500LM has a better driver? The EA1000 is their flagship product which most likely has a higher quality driver. It would be strange to put a higher-end driver in their much lower-priced product.

Good review on the Simgot EA500 LM and a comparison with the EA1000. I saw mention that the LM will be $89 retail, so still pretty low compared to the EA1000 sale price of $166 recently. I think I'd still lean towards the EA1000 if money was no object, as I want the technically best product, but...

They choo-choo hype train reviewers are wrong. Do you really think Simgot's flagship $220 IEM is now obsolete and bettered by the EA500 successor at $60-$70?

Turns out it does not make the EA1000 obsolete like some of the hype train guys were saying. Taking price into account, I can definitely see where the LM is the better choice though.

Thanks for clarifying that…not sure why reviewers feel the need to hype the hell out of things all the time. The EA1000 is excellent and if the EA500LM was better like the conductors of the hype train say, then Simgot sure as heck isn’t going to sell it for $70. EA500LM does sound like a winner...
