I have no hum with any headphones that I’ve tried. My amp is silent on speakers as well. I’m pretty sensitive to tube hum - and empathetic to those whose amps display it - but it is possible to have a dead quiet version of this amp

A few days in now and very happy with this purchase. They're big, but not uncomfortable in the slightest. And the sound is excellent. Will do some more detailed comparisons to my HD800S and my Clear OG down the line.

Just a quick note to join this thread. I picked up the LCDX on the Black Friday sale and am enjoying them very much right out of the box.

Managed to snag a pair of LCD-X. Really looking forward to them - have wanted LCDs for years but never pulled the trigger. Figured I couldn't do better than $699 with warranty and can't wait for them to show up. Will pair them with Leben CS300xs and Topping A90D while working.

Yeah, I very much agree with this. I do have some very limited experience with the LCD line ( most recently the X, which I loved but felt was too heavy and clumsy for me to enjoy long term). I also own the Sine and Mobius fwiw, although they are for specific use cases and neither get much time...

Thanks for this post. I have the slightest hum with my cs300sx in my new office while it was silent in the old space. So, I'm curious about your experience. I have tried a DC blocker but maybe the solution is Deoxit. Can you describe the noise issues?
