I can speak to Plussound Audio longevity as I have a couple of cables from them that are about 4 years old now and they are holding up very well.

I really like the Ultrasone Edition 8 EX, with my pair there was a HUGE burn in period. After about 100 hours the treble was not as piercing as they were when I got them, they might be my fav pair of closed back headphones.
