Headphone Inventory

Sennheiser HD650 recabled (mostly for a more comfortable and convenient cable and 3.5mm TRS instead of 6.3mm for convenience.)
Sennheiser HD555s with the soundstage mod (and the metal grill replaced with a soft speaker grill cloth) and a recable
Sennheiser HD280 Pros with... Modifications... (I opened up the inside a lot more with a lot of cutting, BlueTaked the heck out of it, and added two capacitors to act as simple high-pass filters to tame that bass somewhat. Also, recabled with a much more proper cable. I'm not sure if I could ever do this again, lol. Sealing it back up after opening the inside so much was very tricky. IMO it sounds ten times better than the stock HD280 Pro however and was worth every minute of it.)

Source Inventory

Fiio D3 connected to PCs via optical. Cheap USB soundcard on the EeePC with an optical output (so the D3 does the real DAC work since the soundcard is more just a digital data conversion tool, giving me the advantages of an external and an internal both since it's digital in the computer then analog externally.)

Cable Inventory

Metric ton of Canare Quad Star. :-p (It's very soft and flexible with no microphonics and works beautifully on everything.)

Music Preferences

A bit of everything except R&B (and I respect jazz as being high quality music, but don't really like it.) Probably a bit more leaning towards pop and rock overall. Very light on the metal.
