Dethonray Dtr1 Prelude high resolution player
I do not have much programming knowledge or good working circuitry, so not sure how hard it would be at all. Just a thought I had when considering what else I might want from it. It is a cool device, and OS. Linux just tends to work.- NebelHexen

Dethonray Dtr1 Prelude high resolution player
mine just has 4 pre-made delay and roll off filters, and I notice some changes no doubt. I was thinking more of a parametric eq feature could be programmed in a future update for it. It has the capabilities. Don't get me wrong, I love the player's native sound and it is the most black velvet...- NebelHexen

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Awesome write up! Thanks! I will check those tips out, they look nice! Subtonic's house tips are the ones i am REALLY enjoying lately. They look very similar. Man, weighty choice. I am probably a month out from deciding but excited to add a Noble- NebelHexen

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
This is so helpful, really appreciate you taking the time. Wow! now i am seriously torn between the two. Looks like the DXII is actually 1$ cheaper than the stage 3. Looks like stage 3 comes with a superior cable, I prefer 4.4mm just for the thickness. These two are the scope of my price...- NebelHexen

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Thank you! Good to know. That is what I thought from the graph i could find on the spartan. It looks awesome. Then the DXII is likely a bit bright of acoustic guitar as well then? Maybe stage 3 for acoustic. What do you find yourself enjoying with the DXII for? The W signature is intriguing...- NebelHexen

Any one familiar with the DXII? Was interested in how that sound signature might be for heavy bass rap / club / edm type music.- NebelHexen

The PENON official thread
Penon is awesome to deal with, and shipping is fast to the states. I would rather buy from the direct. Why not? Only reason is if you had to return. Cost to ship the other way sucks. But their prices rock.- NebelHexen
